The communities we build offer a truly distinctive lifestyle, shaped by the land and by the improvements we make to it. While artist’s renderings and topo tables allow customers a glimpse at what will be, we believe the way a community lives—the lifestyle it offers—can only really be known by experiencing it. By building amenities first, we are able to show, rather than simply tell, what it will be like to live in our community. At The Reserve at Lake Keowee, we built a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, a clubhouse, pool complex, tennis courts and other amenities early in the development process. That meant our members could start enjoying their new home immediately. It’s the same way we build all our communities.
Our customers also deserve to have their trust in us earned. And we are able to earn that trust by demonstrating that we have the financial ability and stability to invest heavily in our communities ahead of sales. This is especially important at a time when developments across the country are selling promises they cannot keep. We build our promises first and then we offer them to our customers. It is a way of doing business our customers appreciate.
