Brief Description	Continuously exemplifies the Greenwood Communities & Resorts (GCR) mission, values and customer service philosophy of GCR in job performance and in relationships to others. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment as directed by mechanic and general upkeep and cleaning of shop and yard as directed by Mechanic.

Requirements	Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: perform preventative maintenance on equipment as directed by Mechanic, perform general upkeep and cleaning of shop and yard as directed by Mechanic, repair small engines: flymo and weedeaters, ensure that equipment maintenance is provided on weekends and holidays, ensure all safety devices are in place and operational, ensure that all reels are sharpened and properly maintained as directed by Mechanic, work whatever hours are necessary to properly maintain equipment for every-day tasks, and communicate with Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents. Requirements include the following: general knowledge of equipment operation, gas/diesel engines, golf Course Experience required, some experience with small engines/reels preferred, and must be able to learn how to set and grind reel mowers.
